Hana Lock is an Asian American visual artist who resides and works in the Bay Area. Since graduating from San José State University in 2022 with a BFA in Pictorial Arts, she has since exhibited work in various local galleries and museums. Her painting and drawings are an exploration of the beautiful and grotesque qualities inherent in the processes of life, death, and decay. She primarily uses mediums such as ballpoint pen and paint to craft vibrant and intricate drawings and paintings that combine biological forms with traditional Western and Eastern art.
